Photos and Flowers


I love to get photos of my work. My camera is a nice little Cannon sure shot. My wish some day to buy a really nice one just so I have great photos of my own. I have Photo shop and Light room too. But I have no idea how to use them really so I just play. Here is a bouquet I made up for samples in my stuido..

Thanks Jenna I did take that pic and played with light room I have no idea how any of it works I just press until I like it. do you use light room??

yes i do use light room. love it! i haven't achieved that effect though, i've done it with photoshop but not light room... care to share the secret? hehe. very nice tracy!

I would love to tell you BUT I never remeber I just click this click that about 1,000 times and there it is.. Not that I want to take photos. I just want it for my own. can I ask you how did you learn light room and photo shop? did you have to take a class or just play with it??
what kinda camera would you say for someone like me that like GREAT pics of my flowers, sharp clear easy to use. Thanks.. Tracy

hi again tracy. i understand about the click technique... when you come up with something like that... it's great! i learned photoshop in college, it was from my first two digital classes we got all the basics and the rest kind of comes from messing with it. lightroom i never learned too much with it other than some of the main functions, there's still so much more that can be done and i have yet to find it :) as for the camera, that's tricky... i am a BIG fan of the DSLR cameras. those can be kind of pricey so it really depends on how much you are willing to spend. i know that Nikon has the D40 (and maybe the D60) that aren't as expensive but still capable of some nice shots.
