Over the past few years I have gotten so really amazing thanks yous from my brides, this year has been also a great year for letters. It is me who should be thanking the bride for letting me be part of the most awesome day of their lives! Just knowing that my flowers live on in photos books makes me so happy. Today I got this lovely letter from a bride. what a nice surprise to think she took time to send it. :)
This is the last of the over booked weekends for Park Place Design I had 2 amazing weddings this weekend in down town Kalamazoo. My first stop was to St. Augustine cathedral. my bride was as always stunning and happy the day was warm and sunny. I made her a bouquet of cobra lily's, pods, plumb callas, hydrangea, peacock feathers,Barunia berries, Majolica roses, spider mums, and added greens. Stunning she LOVED them
I love seeing the new ways designers are presenting flowers when they deliver. What fun and inventive ways to do it. This weekend I was at the herb farm so I wanted to do something that blended with the view. Here is a piece of birch wood I used to pin on the lapel flowers. I think it worked out GREAT what do you think?
southern exposure is one of my many favorite places to deliver wedding flowers! Not only is it amazing but the staff is so warm and inviting. Unfortunately this wedding season I had only one wedding booked there. This bride booked in 2010 and I work with her from long distance. The weather was high 60's and sunny. I manage to get a few snap shots of this fun Blue wedding.
This morning it was a total down pour but by 1:00 It was sunny and nice. Here is a Park Place Design bride that I have had booked since last year and what a fun bride! These photos I got today show what a fall wedding in Mich. looks like. The orange JUST poped with the purple maids gowns. I love all the details bride are picking out to show their style. It really shows here.
It's official I have started the first of my fall change of colors. I cant belive that 2 days ago it was almost 100 degrees and this morning it's 55! I need a sweater on burrrr. But here is a photo of my first fall wedding bouquet from my wedding this past Saturday. Hoping to get some pro pics as I did not get any with the bride.
Park Place Design has been all over the country side this weekend with weddings back to back and the heat well into the 90's we have really been crazy. This sweet wonderful wedding at Gull Lake is my last wedding for Sunday. What a great day and I have some amazing photos to share. The weather broke and its a nice breezy 75 the bride really lucked out.
Its a busy weekend here at Park Place Design and its not over yet. But her is one of the weddings I did get some photos of . It was a HOT September day. But the brides were happy and very excited about the flowers. Bright fun colors were at this wedding. They went well with the back ground of the lake. I just love this venue.
