Rose Street Market Bridal show

Park Place Design will be a the January 7th Rose Street show in Kalamazoo  get your tix on line and save. Look me up if you get a chance and come see my amazing flowers..

Client holiday flowers

This time of the year I love to make arrangement's to take to so of my venues. This fresh holly and winter greens, filled with hydrangeas, kale, and snowy trinkets is fun. I think it's just fun giving flowers to people. This year I made up this one for a new venue that will be open by spring! it is very close to my home and I would LOVE to do a wedding there. Maybe this will get me the pull I need. Happy Holidays
The Gatsby is another very cool venue. If you need amazing places to capture your wedding this is outside the venue. I did white feathers~

Vintage Glam

I was very lucky to get to do amazing shoot at the 310 loft in Kalamazoo. It is the new and upcoming venue. Here are some of the amazing photos I received from that day. Can you say yummy?

Elf on the shelf

So what does the flower lady do in the "so called" off season? well I love to craft and also look for some neat vintage stuff to us in my stuido space. But this year something has taken my eye. Its a children's book Elf on the self! what a great story to share with your children. it has a fun way to interact with the Elf and Santa story. In our home we named our Elf Jax. Jax has some new friends found by the flower lady this week while vintage shopping. These little cutie pies are pretty old I kinda remeber them when i was very young. I did not know what they were uses for until I read the story. If you  have children, grandchildren this would be an amazing gift this Christmas. here is a few photos of Jax and his new friends they are just hanging out!

reflecting on 2011

reflecting back over the wedding season I am so happy and feel so blessed to have designed so many wedding this season. Here are just a few that I put on a insperation board. I could not fit them all on but some of my favorite from this past year. I want to thank all my clients past add present who have helped my little business grow into a wonderful amazing venture for me and my family. Here is to a GREAT 2012

Yarrow Wedding Photos

Some of the best weddings can just be a simple one like this one I did in Oct. I am normally not to crazy abut an all white wedding bouquet, But I think this is very pretty, kinda a understated look but had a perfect in packed for the brides wedding day. The pomanders were made to look like pumpkins hanging in a row. Very cute and added the color she needed..

Summer love

When I wake up to frost on the van and have to scrap the ice off and turn on  the heat You know it's that time in Michigan that wedding season has wrapped up. Its always nice to open up my email and see some warm summer day (this day was HOT) in my in box. Thanks to for theses simply beautiful flowers I designed for a wedding at Bay Point Inn on Gun Lake. The colors were to die for so bright and fun.

Last wedding of 2011

Well here at Park Place Design we are out of wedding mode as of today! the last wedding went out the door at 1:00. Kinda bitter sweet really, I love weddings BUT this time of year I really get a little burned out and ready for the break. I do have a few fun winter party's to get out and some projects too. Here are a couple of photos I got before the pick up. I hope the pro photographer will share ones with me.

yummy whites and greens

I love the look of summer whites and greens. This wedding was so pretty and simple. My bride was from another state and we did most of the planning on line. This wedding took place at Kanley Chapel  in Kalamazoo Mi.
