Sure Sign Of Spring In Michigan

For sure wedding season has kicked off  here  for the 2013 year. Spring is around here you can tell by the fresh lilacs, peony's, and lush garden looks. For me I am doing a ton of pale bouquets this summer, tones on tone, pale peach. pinks, white, not a lot of bright colors. Michigan is still in the trend of Mason Jars, lace, burlap. Thats ok I still like to design it. Trends will change soon. Here is a quick snap shot of the bridal bouquet for Park Place Designs wedding at Kellogg Manor house.

Apple orchards

May The 4th Be with you

So I really got to run with a theme wedding today. This bride and groom loved star wars. The whole wedding was done out in everything you can think star wars. It was really fun, I went with a galactic look with some James Story red orchids and lots of red accents, I only got a few photos None of the bride, here are a few from today's

Other Events

Last week one of my planners I work with asked me to design  a few spring center pieces for a 4 year old birthday party. Last year I made some amazing crowns for her 3rd birthday. I was sent a few really cute photos of my works. The pastel vases I made myself and the flowers scream spring.

Going green

How can you not love a green ECO looking bridal bouquet? this is a fun bouquet that many of my followers just love. Burlap, Lambs ear, Green curl fern, garden roses, lots of texture. Great for a barn wedding..

New Logo

It was time to change my logo so  I was away this weekend with some of my dear friends one who is a very talented photographer we were talking about new logos and she whipped this up for me I just love it. It really says what I feel about my business. Earthy, and fun

Shes Crafty

So when I can I love to make crafts! In our house its a huge deal, and now with Pintrest its bigger. Here are a couple of Pintrest crafts I have made. The bunny banner will be great for Easter, I also love paper flowers. My brides will be seeing a ton of them from me this season.. HAPPY EASTER ~

Its Back!

Yes the 80's babies breath is HUGE for me in 2013. You will see many of the wedding I post with tons of babies breath designs,  here is a small show I do In Lawton Michigan   http://www.lawtoncommunitycenter.com/  its a winery and I have been lucky enough to be a preferred  vendor at this show.
